Sophomore forward Jordan Appenzeller scored his first two goals of the season as the Central College men’s soccer team blanked Monmouth 3-0 yesterday. Midfielder Brandon Bautista notched his first goal of the season off a penalty kick. Goalkeeper Tim Maggard made three saves. Central outshot the Fighting Scots 23-6 in the game, 13-1 in the second half. The Dutch improved to 4-1 an d head to Collegeville, Minnesota. to face St. John’s Sunday.
