The unusual amount of rain in county this spring and summer has resulted flooding in several areas including the intersection of Jefferson and South Street in Knoxville.  The Knoxville City Council is considering adding and additional storm sewer line to the area to help take care of the extra water that gathers there.  City Manager Dick Schrad says with these roads already tore up as part of the storm sewer project now would be the best time to do so.  Schrad and Public Works Director Jeff May are looking into how much this addition would cost and a work session will be held Friday at 10am in the council chambers of the Knoxville City Hall to further discuss the topic.
