A block party was held this past weekend to celebrate the restoration of a 100 year old home in Knoxville. Barry and Mary Reynolds have been working hard for years to restore their home at 502 West Main in Knoxville and invited the community to come check out the results. The Knoxville Historic Preservation Commission presented the Reynolds with a framed certificate to recognize all the dedication they have put into restoring the historic quality of the home. Barry says it was a very important project to him and it seems like everyone always wants to build new, but what about the old. He says if we get rid of the old we no longer have the history of our forefathers before us.
