New Construction will be taking place at Lake Red Rock starting this weekend. Their will be construction taking place on the Marina starting Monday. The intent of the project is to recover from continual flood damage to the Marina cove to by moving the marina back into the cove so it gets weather protection. All of the boat owners were required to take their boats off the water. The plan is to have the new marina constructed by next spring. The contract for the project was awarded to a company out of Des Moines and is over 3 million dollars.
