Trailing 23-14 in the opening set, the Central College volleyball team reeled off 11 unanswered points and went on to post an unlikely sweep of its Iowa Conference opener with Dubuque last night 28-26, 25-17, 25-22. Right-side hitter Ashley Ellingson had 13 kills while middle hitter Haley Brillhart, a junior from Pella, had nine kills. Setter Maggie Snyder had 38 assists and 14 digs. Outside hitter Caitlin Kouba had 20 digs and libero Chelsea Grieger, a junior from Pella, had 18. Central is off this weekend, then travels to Cedar Rapids for another league match at Coe College Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
