A fundraiser will be held in Bussey this weekend to help raise money for new playground equipment. Today’s events include a mini carnival provided by Smitty’s Kids Amusements from 1-8pm complete with barrel trains, a ferris wheel and inflatables. Ride tickets will be sold for $1 or wristbands will be available for $10. That evening the Knoxville Morning Kiwanis club will provide a pancake supper from 4-8pm for free will donations and the “buy a brick” booth will be set up at that time as well. All proceeds from the event will go to the Bussey Playground Committee.
