The Knoxville Federated Garden Club is hosting a contest next weekend to help get area residents into the fall spirit. Kids of all ages are invited to participate in a Create a Scarecrow contest. Entries will be accepted on Saturday October 2nd at 9am at the Farm Bureau, located at 1017 North Lincoln in Knoxville and community members are invited to stop by and vote for their favorite. There is no entry fee and cash prizes will be awarded to the top three scarecrows. Proceeds from the event will go to projects sponsored by the Knoxville Garden Club.
