Around 230 high school students from 30 different schools gathered in Knoxville yesterday for a soil clinic. Knoxville FFA Advisor Brent Hanna tells KNIA/KRLS news the students evaluated pits dug in the land near 3M for conservation practices and building sites. Hanna says this is the 33rd year Knoxville has hosted the event and they are happy to do so as it is a great practical and hands on field day for the students. Partnering together to put on the event were the Marion County Soil and Water Conservation District, District FFA Officers and digging was provided by Larry Angove.
