As KNIA/KRLS News recently reported, the US Army Corp of Engineers will be reconstructing part of Lake Red Rock during the draw down of the Lake. To go along with the marina that is being relocated to the cove for weather protection they are doing construction on many other areas of the Lake. The Corps of Engineers are rebuilding north overlook beach as well as slope protection at the Corp of Engineers office and the DNR is building a fish reef around White Breast Point. Assistant Ops Managers John Holt says the draw down will assist the construction projects greatly.
