Residents of Pella may soon be able to have larger residential accessory structures such as garages and sheds. City Administrator Mike Nardini tells KNIA/KRLS news that at the City Council Meeting on Tuesday, the council had the first of three readings of the ordinance in order for it to pass. The current maximum height is 12 feet and if this ordinance passes, residents would be allowed to have up to 15 feet. Nardini says they will revisit the item at a later City Council meeting.
