The FEMA Mobile Disaster Recovery Center will open up in Marion County today. The center will be set up at the new public health building at 2003 North Lincoln in Knoxville and will offer an opportunity for residents to talk face-to-face with FEMA employees who will inform them about available assistance, low interest loans, tips on low cost repairs and home improvements and how to prepare for future disasters. The Mobile Recover Center will be open Monday through Fridays 9am-7pm and Saturday from 9am-5pm. All residents who have received any flooding or storm damage this year between June 1st and August 31st are encouraged to register with FEMA prior to visiting the disaster recovery center by calling 1-800-621-3362.
