Melcher-Dallas Fire and Rescue and Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a two vehicle accident at 4:40pm yesterday. The accident occurred at the intersection of Highway G76 and South Main Street in Melcher. After complaining of pain, one of the drivers was transported to Knoxville Hospital and Clinics. Both vehicles were towed from the scene and the accident remains under investigation by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
