After a successful weekend, the Pella Christian volleyball team returns to action tonight at Newton and hopes to keep their undefeated conference record in tact.

The Eagles are 4-0 in LHC play so far and have only dropped one set which was at Grinnell. Pella Christian, ranked 8th in Class 2A, is coming off a stellar performance at their own tournament Saturday where they finished 5-0 and knocked off some quailty competition.

Leading the way up front this year has been Jenna Horstman who has pounded down 152 kills while Meredith Fopmas has 96. Horstman also leads the team in blocks with 44 while Paige Zylstra has stuffed 38. Setter Sarah Faber has been a pleasant surprise this season averaging nearly seven assists per game and Ashley Van Kooten leads in digs with 276. Jasmin Schelhaas leads the team with 25 ace serves while Faber has 23.

The Eagles are 16-4 overall and 4-0 in the LHC. Action starts at 5:30pm tonight at Newton with varsity playing around 7:15pm.
