The Central College volleyball team is looking to their returning talent to help return them to an Iowa Conference contender this year, and that experience showed as they scored a 3-1 season opening non conference win at Grinnell College last night. After dropping a tight game one 25-23 the Dutch fired back to win the next three in convioncing fashion 25-13, 25-15 and 25-12. Junior Amy Golly had 10 kills and middle hitter and Pella native Haley Brillhart had nine kills to go along with two blocks. Her former Pella High teammate, defensive specialist Chelsea Grieger had 25 digs. Central competes in the Wisconsin.-Stevens Point Invitational this weekend.
