Pella finished 2-2 at the Dubuque Wahlert volleyball tournament Saturday.

Pella began the day falling to Iowa City West, the second ranked team in Class 4A 2-1, then defeated Class 4A Western Dubuque 2-0, and the 11th ranked team in Class 4A Cedar Falls 2-1 to finish second in their pool. The Lady Dutch earned the sixth seed in the championship bracket and were matched up again with Iowa City West and for the second time on the day, and the third time this season were defeated by Iowa City West 2-1.

Pella, the 4th ranked team in Class 3A, is 13-5 overall, all five of their losses have come to top five ranked teams in Class 4A, three of which are to Iowa City West. Pella returns to LHC action tomorrow night when they host Oskaloosa for their homecoming week match.
