Area residents are invited to a free event today to tour some of the finest family farms in south-central Iowa. Farm Crawl 2010 gives attendees an opportunity to tour seven area farms, visit the animals, meet the famers, sample the goods and purchase locally grown and produced products. Included in the tour this year is Blue Gate Farm, Coyote Run Farm, Dan-D Farm, Pierce’s Pumpkin Patch, Reichart’s Dairy Air, Schneider Orchard and White Breast Pottery and Weaving. The event will take place from 11am-5pm and is free and open to the public.
