There are 19 stops on this year’s Red Rock Arts Alliance’s 4th Annual Autumn Studio Tour. The event kicks off Saturday at 10am and includes pieces from more than two dozen local artists. Studio Tour Founder Pat Schrad says the event offers a unique opportunity for the attendees to really interact with the artists by watching them create some pieces, speaking with them about their art and having the opportunity to purchase locally made artwork. Schrad says the Red Rock Arts Alliance continues to hold this event annually for a few reasons. The first being to educate the public about art and how it impacts our lives everyday and secondly to economically support arts in the area. The free self-guided tour will be held Saturday from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and noon until 5pm on Sunday. For more information call 828-6830 or 628-1960.
