First-place Loras College showed the finishing kick that Central College lacked and swept the Dutch in three tightly contested games 25-22, 25-20, and 25-23 in Iowa Conference volleyball action Wednesday. Central had opportunities to win in each set and even held a 22-20 lead in the third set but couldn’t close the deal. Central Libero, Chelsea Greiger of Pella, had another strong performance with 21 digs. The Dutch Are 17-9 overall and 6-3 in the Iowa Conference, and will compete in their final regular-season tournament Friday and Saturday at the Elmhurst Invitational in Illinois.
