Downtown Knoxville businesses are opening up their doors to area youngsters this weekend for Retail Beggar’s Day. Children are invited to dress in their Halloween costumes and trick-or-treat on the square in Knoxville on Saturday. Participating businesses will have a variety of treats available for the kids from 11:30am-1pm. The annual event serves as an additional or alternative opportunity for children to show off their costumes and collect goodies while their parents have the chance to check out the variety of products and services available right here in Knoxville.
