Around 15,000 law enforcement officials met in Orlando, Florida this past weekend including Knoxville Police Chief Dan Losada. The annual International Association of Chiefs of Police Conference was held October 23rd through 27th and involved various meetings, speakers, vendor displays and networking opportunities. Chief Losada says the conference is a great opportunity to receive world class education and training for a flat fee. In addition, attendees were also able to test out new equipment and technology that he otherwise would not have the opportunity use. Losada says he’s already looking forward to next year’s conference which will be held in Chicago and plans to bring at least one of his senior officers with so they have the chance to experience it as well.
