Knoxville’s Ambergy Tenatively Qualifies For State Girls Swimming In 2 Events

The State Girls Swim Meet next weekend may have a little bit of a Knoxville flavor via Indianola. Knoxville’s Christina Ambergy makes the 25 mile one-way drive each day, sometimes twice a day to compete for Indianola High Schools Swim team. Ambergy along with her teammates have tentatively qualified for next weeks state meet in Marshalltown. Ambergy unofficially has qualified for in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:44.40 seconds and in the 400 free relay in a time of 3:50.02. The State Girls Swim Meet is next Friday and Saturday at the Marshalltown Y-M-C-A.
