A former U.S. Senate candidate will be in Knoxville today to present his proposal for a Veterans National Recovery Center on the Knoxville VA campus. Bob Krause, who was defeated by Roxanne Conlin in the democratic primary race this June, has put together a plan for a recovery center for homeless and Post-traumatic Stress Disorder veterans. Knoxville Mayor Don Zoutte mentioned the proposal at the City Council meeting this week stating he thinks it is a very good plan but has several questions for Krause which he plans to address at the meeting Thursday. The public is invited to attend the presentation which will take place at 6pm at the Swamp Fox Pub and Grill.
