With the elections fast approaching in less than a month, the Republican party has presented a collection of issues positions to try to help get America back on track financially. Andrew Green, a political science instructor at Central College says that the Republican Pledge to America is essentially a five point plan dealing with the economy, the size of government, health care reform, procedural reform and National security. Green also says that it is very similar to the Contract with America that the Republican party proposed in 1994. The Pledge could only go into effect if the Republicans are given control of the House and the Senate on November 2nd.
