The Iowa State Investment Office in Knoxville recently received a facelift, thanks in part to money from the Self Supported Municipal Improvement District (SSMID). The investment office was able to receive the maximum amount of $4,000 from the SSMID committee to completely revamp the exterior of the building. David Hoke of Iowa State Savings Bank says the improvements not only support their business but the whole downtown area. Bank President Stu Job says the committee was very easy to work with and he encourages other business owners to contact them when looking to improve their buildings.
