The Central College men’s soccer program notched a new accomplishment this season, as Brett McKenzie became the first men’s player to be named the Iowa Conference’s MVP for soccer. The senior forward led the Iowa Conference with eleven goals, was tops in points per game with 1.56 and tied for most game-winning goals with five.

McKenzie was one of five men’s players and one women’s soccer player for Central to receive conference recognition. He is joined on the First Team by midfielder Cody Jandik, while Nick DeLucia earned Second Team honors. Garrett Fooshee and Daniel Peacock were recognized for the first times in their careers as Honorable Mention selections; and were joined by KJ McQueerey.

On the women’s side, senior Brianne Knutson was an Honorable Mention pick as a defender.
