Four juveniles involved in a single vehicle accident near Melcher-Dallas last night. According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office at approximately 10:10pm Friday, deputies were called to the Knoxville Hospital for a juvenile male that received injuries from a car accident earlier that evening. An investigation by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office determined that the accident occurred at the intersection of Rutledge Street atn 80th Avenue at approximately 9:00pm. Another juvenile male was driving the vehicle when he approached the intersection at a fast speed, skidded through the stop sign and entered the ditch. The injured male was treated for his injuries at the Knoxville Hospital and the driver and two female juveniles in the vehicle were uninjured. The driver was charged with failure to obey a stop sign.
