The top three runners for the Knoxville Boys Cross Country squad left an impression that will stay for a while. Jamie VanderVeer, Timothy Shepherd, and Alex Edwards led the Panthers to the state meet for the last two season and last week a runner-up finish. One of the most amazing things, during their careers they were never beat out for a varsity spot from the time they ran as freshmen. Coach Mike Moats says it has been a great run for the three seniors. While Moats says they will be hard to replace, he has several runners who were on varsity this season that are ready to step into a leadership role next season.
