Knoxville City Council Meeting Recap

The Knoxville City Council met in regular session last night. At the meeting new Knoxville Police Officer Corey Derby was sworn in, the council discussed purchasing an additional ambulance for the city Fire and Rescue Department and advised Chief Mike Roberts to move forward with the bidding process, a loan agreement in issuance of a $710,000 General Obligation Storm Sewer note for the South and Jefferson Storm Sewer Project was approved and the first reading of an ordinance establishing the Mayor’s Youth Council was approved.
