The Knoxville School District is continually working to implement new technology in our local schools. After a recent school board meeting the board and administration in the district held a work session to develop a plan to educate both teachers and students about how to use new technology. Superintendent Dr. Randy Flack says it’s the districts goal for students to have the skills that will enable them to use whatever technology is available and be able to adapt to the different technologies to communicate, cooperate and exist in a global economy. However, Dr. Flack says before they students can be taught about technology, the teachers also need to understand it.
