The first round of the 23rd National Geographic Bee for students in fourth through eighth grades is being held at Pella Christian Grade School until January 14th. Students all over the United States will compete for a chance to participate in the National competition on May 24th and May 25th, 2011 in Washington, D.C. for a chance to win a $25,000 college scholarship. The winner of the Bee at Pella Christian will move on to the state level where a written exam will follow.
