After months of rehearsing, opening night of the Knoxville Area Community Theatre’s fall musical will be performed tonight. This year’s piece is “Once Upon a Mattress” and retells the story of the Princess and the Pea. The show is directed by Carol Adkins with musical direction by Chris Meyers and will be presented Friday and Saturday night and next weekend at 7pm in the Knoxville Middle School auditorium. Reserve seating tickets are available in advance at Nanjotonics Radio Shack for $8 or for $10 at the door.
