Central Wrestlers Up Against Powerhouse Wartburg as Season Resumes

Off since November 20th, the Central College wrestling team makes its return to the mats tonight. For the Dutch, it’s another tough Iowa Conference matchup, as they will travel to Waverly to face No. 2-rated Wartburg. It’s already the second time this season that Central is facing a squad that is ranked in the top ten nationally. The last time the Dutch competed, they had two champions crowned and added several other strong performances at the Auggie-Brute-adidas Open wrestling tourney at Augsburg College.
