A large group of Pella Christian High School students were in Knoxville Friday to give back to the community. 75 senior students spent their day helping out the Helping Hands Food Pantry. The seniors helped with a variety of jobs including remodeling, cleaning and yard work of a home that was donated for use by families in transition and maintenance of the apartments above the food pantry. The purpose of the volunteer work was to serve as an opportunity to help the less fortunate, learn about helping out others in the community and continue to serve the Lord.
