Faculty at Pella High School are making a push for a change in the physical education curriculum. Pella Schools Superintendent Mark Wittmer says that the new plan would allow kids more options as well as more physical education overall. The new plan would provide eleventh and twelfth graders the opportunity to participate in P.E. every day for an entire semester, rather than two times per week for the entire year. Wittmer says the goal is to give students a chance to see the positives that come along with exercising regularly.
