Those who have stepped foot into the Knoxville Recreation Center recently have likely noticed the many improvements that have been made this fall. The improvements include everything from a new theatre system in the cardio room to a new paint color scheme in the lobby and new tile in the rest rooms. Wellness Supervisor Trish Worrall says though some of the changes may seem small, they help give the recreation center a nice, clean and updated look. Worrall says the work continues as they hope to soon paint the weight room and bathrooms. She says they want members and visitors to walk inside and feel like it is a nice place to workout with a family friendly atmosphere and plenty of activities for all ages.
