Thursday afternoon the Knoxville Police Department and Mid-Iowa Narcotics Enforcement Task Force executed a search warrant for a home in the 400 block of South 2nd Street in Knoxville. Police Chief Dan Losada tells KNIA/KRLS news the MINE Task Force has been working on an investigation involving the residence for some time after receiving information that there may a drug operation in place. As a result, 18 year-old Aaron Michael Allen of Knoxville was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, two charges of failure to affix a valid drug tax stamp, five counts of manufacture, deliver and possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. In addition, two other men were arrested at the scene. 20 year-old Jordan Daniel Swank was charged with possession of a controlled substance and 20 year-old Austin Jay Stierwalt was served an arrest warrant.

After their initial appearances Friday morning, Allen is currently being held in the Marion County Jail on a $20,000 bond with a preliminary hearing set for November 16th, Swank was released on his own recognizance and Stierwalt was charged with a probation violation with a revocation hearing set for November 9th. He is also being held on a Polk County warrant, no bond has been set.
