The all-clear has been given at the 3M plant in Knoxville after an early morning bomb threat caused all employees to be evacuated. According to Knoxville Police Chief Dan Losada the report came in shortly after 4:00 this morning and after a search of the plant no device was found. Employees were allowed back into the building around 7am and plant operations will continue as usual for the remainder of the day.

3M management, the Knoxville Police Department, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and the Knoxville Fire and Rescue Department continue to investigate the threat.
