Community Banks Seeing Increase In Customers
Posted By News On December 7, 2010 @ 6:21 am In Today’s Local News | Comments Disabled
Thanks to free checking and other services, our local community banks have seen an increase in customers this year. David Hoke with Iowa State Savings Bank attributes this to the many advantages community banks have. Hoke says as a community bank they have the opportunity to position themselves on top with many features such as free checking and competitive, low interest lending products. Assistant Vice President of Leighton State Bank Chris Geordt echoes Hokes comments. He says community banks offer a more personable approach and easy-maintenance accounts. Both Hoke and Geordt feel like the community appreciates how much their banks are able to get involved.
