According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol a Knoxville woman was killed in a single vehicle accident in Missouri yesterday morning. The accident happened at approximately 5:50am in Hickory County, Missouri when a 2006 Toyota Corolla driven by 49 year-old Eugene Perkins of Knoxville failed to steer when entering a curve. The vehicle traveled off to the left side of the roadway, struck a tree and overturned. 45 year-old passenger Judy L. Shaw of Knoxville was pronounced dead at the scene. Perkins suffered moderate injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
