Earlier this year Lynville-Sully Schools Art Department had a shortage of supplies and badly needed pencils to complete classroom projects. Thanks to a little bit of help recently, that won’t be a problem anymore. K-12 art teacher Tara Conover tells KNIA/KRLS News that the art department received three different checks since last week. The first one that came in was for $5,000, the second was for $50,000 and the most recent was for $45,000. Conover says that she wants to improve the aesthetics of the school by creating either a legacy wall or an art gallery. The three checks that totalled $100,000 were all from anonymous sources.
