After opening up the Little Hawkeye Conference schedule with a win over Knoxville on Tuesday, the Pella Christian boys basketball team will play their final game before the holiday break to night at Grinnell. Eagles’ Head Coach Larry Hessing says the Tigers will draw some comparisons to what his squad saw against Knoxville.

“Grinnell is very good at full-court defense. They’re a lot like Knoxville – not a lot of size – so I think it’s going to be a very similar game,” said Hessing. “We just need to be solid on the defensive end and take good care of the basketball.”

The Pella Christian boys are 4-1 overall and 1-0 in the conference. You can hear tonight’s game broadcast live on 92.1 fm KRLS with Eric Grillaert and Wynne Veenstra in Grinnell for the call. Tip-off is set for roughly 7:30 pm.
