The first winter storm of the season altered plans for three of the four varsity basketball teams in Pella Saturday, as afternoon games were canceled for opponents of both Pella and Pella Christian.  Following Friday night’s win over Knoxville, the Pella boys were scheduled for another game at home, this time against ADM.  

Pella Christian’s basketball teams were scheduled to head in opposite directions for road games against ADM for the girls and Albia for the boys, but also had their plans cancelled due to Saturday’s blizzard warning that blanketed the region.  

The girls and boys Varsity teams at both Pella High and Pella Christian will return to competition on Tuesday with Little Hawkeye Conference match-ups with Norwalk and Knoxville, respectively.
