Two Vehicle Accident on Highway 92 and 216th

Clay Township Fire and Rescue and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office were called to a two-vehicle accident on Highway 92 and 216th near Harvey at approximately 3:30PM yesterday. Marion County Sheriff Ron Goemaat reports that a minivan driven by Justin Geisler of Milo was travelling westbound on Highway 92 when it was t-boned by a pick up truck driven by Jack Smith of New Sharon who was heading southbound on 216th. The minivan then traveled several hundred feet into the south ditch of Highway 92 and passenger Robert Gordon of Milo was transported to Knoxville Hospital and Clinics with apparent non-life threatening injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
