The Pella wrestling team begins official action on the mats tonight when they open their season on the road with a triangular at Newton.  Gone this season are AJ Arendall and Brent Smith – who each qualified for the State Meet last season and finished their careers tied for the most wins in school history – but the Little Dutch return a strong contingency of younger wrestlers that made a great deal of progress throughout last season.  Pella’s JV/Varsity wrestling triangular at Newton begins at 6:30 pm tonight, and also includes a squad from Des Moines Lincoln.
