This Thursday is the final Writers Reading of the fall at Central College. Professor of English Walter Cannon will be reading his poetry in Geisler Library Reading room at 7:30pm. Cannon has been published in many journals and has been the first prize winner for the annual Lyrical Iowa contest and a semi-finalist for the Emily Dickinson prize. The Geisler Library Writers Reading series was established in 1987 to promote an appreciation of books and their authors.
