Funeral services for Clarence Wilson, age 79 of Chariton will be held on Tuesday at 10:30AM at the First Lutheran Church in Chariton. Family will receive friends on Monday from 5-7PM at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. Memorials can be directed to the First Lutheran Church or for a memorial fund to be established for the nursing staff at the Lucas County Health Center.

He will be missed by his wife of 55 years, Geneva; his mother Naomi Goben of Chariton; his children: LuAnn (Tom) Mosbach of Chariton, Suellen (Troy) LaZella of Bondurant, and Mark (De) Wilson of Ankeny; and 9 grandchildren: Abbie, Austin, Ben, Cole, Mickensee, Kelsey, Jake, Mike and Marcus. He is also survived by brothers: Paul (Susan) Goben of Eckerty, IN, and Richard (Sheila) Goben of Wapello; a sister-in-law Helen (Jim) Snodgrass of Mt. Pleasant; and many nieces nephews, relatives and friends.
