Brian Clauson of Noblesville, Indiana won the first qualifying night of the 25th Chili Bowl Midget Nationals in Tulsa, Oklahoma last night. Clauson swept the night winnings his heat and qualifying race and then posted a first place in the A-Main. Michael Pickens was second followed over the line by Jon Stanbrough…Jonathan Beason…and Brad Kuhn to complete the top five. Six time and Defending Chili Bowl Champion Sammy Swindell won the International Chili Bowl Race of Champions. The second night is four preliminary qualifying nights is scheduled for tonight.
