The Pella City Council met in regular session last night. The Council revisited an issue that was previously discussed on December 13th, approving the first reading of a zoning ordinance amending the boundaries of the Community Commercial district which would expand the area one block west. There was also a second reading of the possible rezoning of the Hospice of Pella Comfort House on Union Street for expansion and a larger parking lot. The next council meeting is scheduled for January 18 at the public safety complex on liberty street.
