Every year during the Festival of Trees at the Pella Opera House, they raise money to help fund a children’s program. This year the Pella Opera House, in conjunction with it’s fundraising organization Partners, were able to raise over $2,000 dollars more than last year to help fund not only one, but two children’s programs for 2011. Beth Hill with the Pella Opera House tells KNIA/KRLS News that they had a great turnout during the Festival of Trees during the Christmas season. While no official dollar amount has been recorded, Hill adds that the money will go towards the Missoula Children’s Theatre performance of the Frog Prince on February 4th and 5th and the Legend of Black Beards Gold during the summer.
