At 12:27pm, Marion County Sheriff’s dispatch received a phone call for assistance at 1722 Hwy 14 S, Knoxville. An individual was found deceased in their home under suspicious circumstances. The scene is being secured by the Marion Co. Sheriff’s Office. The investigation is being conducted by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation. An autopsy is scheduled concerning the victim for 1/8/11. No other information is being released at this time to preserve the integrity of the investigation.
